Does anyone remember this one?
Starcade.tv and jmpc.com I remember watching this, especially the game that had cartoon graphics (about a knight, a dragon, and other characters). I'm not sure, but I think kids who played it were also featured on the show That's Incredible, and I imagined that the game involved laser disks, but I can't remember that much now. Feel free to share your thoughts about this and links to other TV shows. |

Here's another from Manila during the mid-'80s: you phoned in as a contestant in a television show to play a video game a la Space Invaders or something like it. The ship would move up and down and you had to shout "Pow!" into the phone to make the ship fire at moving targets. I'm told similar games were played in other countries as early as the '70s.

I remember a game similar to what you explained being played on channel 10 in the 80's can;t remember much detail on it other then haing to yep pow to fire the guns at a moving ship on the screen.
You had a certain amount of time to get as many ships as you could. The winer won a prize.

I remember GamesMaster and another on ITV with Violet Berlin....cant remember name
Also remember watching Magic Pockets on BBC Saturday morning television ......man the kids who actually got through to play those games sucked. Knightmare was good i enjoyed that it wasnt a game show as such but had an RPG feel.
