Wink LOCKING A THREAD

HI Moderator,

Before locking the thread, maybe explain to whom ever maybe infringing on the AUP.

We were clearly enjoying the thread, why penalise everyone?

BTW I dont need an answer or a lecture

Thanks Hossy, yes I'm well aware of contents of the thread, my point being take it up with the ONE person who is infringing. The rest of the people contributing to the thread were not engaged in any breaches, and were discussing something completely different.

Well obviously I am unaware who locked it, ( has no name) hence the thread.

And Im sure I addressed it to the person responsible, and did add the following "BTW I dont need an answer or a lecture". But you have decided to answer for the person regardless.

LOCK plz (sigh)

I'm the moderator who locked the thread in question.

As much as I understand your point of view, I do stand by my decission.

There were two, possibly three seperate AUP violations within that thread. We can not have TOG's service used as a means or a tool for the use of illegal activities. Why was it locked instead of just addressing the issue? Because warnings were posted and ignored within the thread.

You can send me a PM if you wish to discuss the matter fruther.

Charles

I'm sorry if it seemed i was lecturing you, I just couldn't work out why the thread was started when it clearly says at the bottom of the post who edited it last, a simple PM asking the question instead of a thread would have been a better idea.
Yes my mistake on who locked it, the first post was edited by Father, didnt notice the last was by Fritz

My fault, send your retribution to me.

Im used to a variety of forums, and rules.

Been a while, I suppose I've forgotten what an admin is supposed to be like.

Well if any references made by me about actually posessing illegal software were contravining that AUP, then i formally protest, as I never told anyone I would give them any of it. So there :P
