I think it's pretty obvious that us gamers can't settle on just one "best game ever!".

How about a "best game ever that I wish would be updated"?

I vote for the original Legend of Zelda.

Keeping in mind that nothing besides graphics and sound be changed (and any possible bugs, of course).

Master of Orion or Civilization? Hard to pick a best.

Good list. This one made me laugh. I spent more time then I care to imagine on Bertox exploring and questing. This was my wife's introduction to PC gaming and our first MMO. She is still playing while I only go back occassionaly for nostalgic reasons.

While Zelda games are good, I think that the best game out there in terms of ultimate fandom is probably either Mario or Final Fantasy 7. Final Fantasy 7 is my vote for the best game of all time. It is a fantastic story with graphics that were considered beautiful for its time.

The video game was terrible (in my opinion) but the board game was fantastic. Space Hulk board game came out in the early 90's. Wish I kept my old PnP and board games but alas I grew up, moved away from home, and my pop throws them out (along with my original 1977 Star Wars figures).

Of course they're worth a small fortune on Ebay now.

I loved the PC game... Probably because it was close to un-winnable and had so much intensity. As for the board game, Games Workshop re-released a limited edition. I grabbed a copy for $130, which is pretty good considering it retailed for about $180. A lot of Warhammer players bought them up just for the models, which look extremely cool.

I loved the Space Hulk PC game and board game, both were excellent. I didn't know they re-released a limited edition. When was that?

This one came out in September. If you search around you could probably find it, but it was limited to a single run. So once they are gone, they're gone for good

Here's a video of all the pieces. (with some crap techno, so turn your volume down)
