I can't help it. I have to nominate:

Where in the World is Carmen Santiago?

Then there was this other game that was the Australian equivalent of Oregon Trail - you trekked through the Blue Mountains in a textish sort of game. Then there was this "Island" game where you could find a milkbar on a desert island

Hey, I was FORCED in year 8 in 1988 to play all of the above games! We had them in year 8 English as a school "learning supplement and extension curriculum tool"

Pfft! So many mistakes! The top 8 best games of all time, in no particular order are clearly:
Wing Commander 1
Wing Commander 2
Wing Commander 3
Wing Commander 4
Wing Commander Privateer
Wing Commander Armada
Wing Commander Academy
Wing Commander Prophecy

EDIT: In seriousness, I could never pick a single game as my favourite. Far too many that delight and entrance me to consider picking a single game thats above the rest.

I've always loved Super Mario All Stars on the SNES. Those four 8 bit Mario games given a 16 bit update was perfection and I still play them today.

I would say Everquest - Everything from the Kunark expansion through to the release of mercenaries was the highlight of my gaming history.

Really tough, but if I were to say which game grabbed my the most and really devoured my life for a time. Off the top of my head I was say

1) Bard's Tale
2) Intellivision Football
3) Dark Ages of Camelot
