Default Old School D&D - any interest?
Some of you might remember me from years ago, in Battlefield Vietnam and BF2. Probably not though. Anyway, most of my BF2 squad ran off years ago to play WOW, and I tried it and it didn't take.

Then I fell in with a bad crowd... Welcome to Dragonsfoot

I found I had a bit of a longing for real RPGing that computers could not fix. In short, I am interested in starting up (hell, or even joining) an old school D&D group in Brisbane.

I thought if anyone else might be keen, it may be some Toggers.

I'm not looking at tomorrow, probably not even this year. But if there is any interest, I'd like to know about it.

There are an awful lot of resources available if you wanted to run a pen and paper RPG with an online group.

Soon the D&D 4th Edition online tabletop app will be out, which looks like it will make it much easier to run a game online.

I know some pnp gamers up there swear by Fast Break Figures Trading Cards Sports Merchandise not only for gear but to meet others to form groups.
Of course if you're talking old school you might want to mention which one. ie. DnD, ADnD, 2nd Ed, 3rd/3.5, 4th, Runequest (my fav. there's a new edition out too) Rolemaster blah blah blah, 'cause now I'm just showing off my e-peen. Sorry folks.

I wouldn't mind having some games. Haven't played in twenty years though (2nd edition).
