As someone who loved the original, I could never get into the remakes. They just lacked the charm and intensity of the original. Hopefully this one is better.

Oh man! i dumped countless hours into this game . I remember going into the files and editing the insults that the computer tanks would say. good times indeed. Im definitly checking out this remake.

Ha! we did that, when we had tournaments at my place it would say insulting things about a few of the players.

I used to LOVE Scorched Earth!
And the game it was based on.... The old VBasic game that came with DOS installs.. with the giant gorillas throwing explosive bananas at each other.

I'll bet I still have a copy of Scorched Earth around here.

this is the game that convinced me that i needed a pc i still have it but in runs way to fast on newer pc,s
