Default Crap Mame

Crap Mame

A site devoted to some of the nastiest looking home made Mame cabinets and control schemes out there.

Be warned: while the guy writing the copy is funny but he likes to use the F-bomb a fair bit so if your easily offend you might want to give this a miss.

LOL gives me some inspiration and consolation that my first mame machine (which I will get around to building one day) will actually be not too bad.

On the final page he does actually make some good points on what is good/bad design, plus I like the fact that as well as criticising other peoples work he also "reviews" the first cabinet he ever made.

I was laughing so hard at this guy that I was crying! My brother and I have thrown around the idea of making a Mame cabinet before. If we ever do, I will have to send that guy a picture of it and ask for his opinion of it, hahaha.

That's cool I actually made a decent mame machine a few years ago that got wrecked when I moved.I have all the controls and buttons in storage, guess I should dig em out and build another. I never could find a good old television to use so I used my computer moniter. Perhaps one day that I have some time to spare.

I have the components of mine in storage too, had to trash it when I moved my study / playroom to a broom cupboard because there is just no room. I'm going to rebuild it into a half scale cabinet for the kids, it will probably end up on crap mame itself when I'm done.
