Psygnosis shuts down after 28 years

Well, almost. Sony bought them out in the 90's, but their spirit lived on in Studio Liverpool. Until now.

Ahhh Sony kills a little more fun.

Barbarian.... Obliterator... Blood Money... The Second Samurai... Destruction Derby... Shadow of the Beast... Bloodwych... Lemmings... Nitro... I'm sure there were a lot more. This is going back a long way for me!

Wipeout 2097, Armour-Geddon, Rollcage, the list goes on.

Psygnosis always had the coolest intro's on the Amiga

When I read Psygnosis I think of the great Amiga time !

I remember some Psygnosis titles I played on the Atari. Sad to see the giants continuing their killing-off spree.
I guess they call it progress...

It's just a name, the real people behind the games we loved are no doubt still around somewhere, the good ones never truly disappear - the gaming industry actually hasn't been around long enough for them to have gotten old and retired/died yet.
