Kickstarter just went over the funding requirement yesterday.

Yes, how many times have games tried to be like elite and have failed badly.

A simple concept yet they still failed.

The closest I came to the experience was darkstar one, yes I have seen all the other wannabes and I shudder when I think of them.

I hope it is not like tron 2 vs 1 as tron 2 was an abomination to the genre, shame,shame,shame.

Oh man, this remake looks sweet.

I know it's made by the original developer, but even still... with so many remakes having crushed my soul because they've sucked so bad, can we really trust this will be actually be good?

Looking very much forward to this.
Though, how many times have you been disappointed at a remake?

watch all thew dev vids on the kickstarter. The very fact they're using procedural generation is huge! I love the way the old games felt due to that technique.
