Rainbow Colours + Win 8.
Hello!
I recently (today) downloaded an old football manager game I played back in the days. It was out for Windows 95. While the game is working (as far as I can see) the colours are way off. I've attempted every kind of compatibility mode I think, and even some solutions that appeared to work with Windows 7 for some users (shut down explorer.exe, and restart it when you're done gaming), but it hasn't seemed to work. Anyone got any leads? For the record, the game in question is Premier Manager 97 |
Run it in an emulator of Windows 98 or jsut get the most recent version of the game:

Emulator as in install 98 in VirtualBox or similar? Since I haven't heard of any other kind of early windows emulators.
And I'm after making this game work because of nostalgic reasons. I have Football Manager 2013 for when I prefer recent stuff. :) |
Hiya Xenoph.
You could try using DOSbox, I know that will run some old game fine. |
I have DOSBox installed, sadly, PM97 is one of those games that actually require Windows to run. :(
