Think i will have to try this game also although i imagine it will take a back seat the that other hack n slash coming out this year (fingers crossed still).

Seemingly it is going to be very cheap to buy $20 or so.

I really like the focus of this game. Looks like they've spent a lot of their art time on animations, everything is so smooth and well blended from that standpoint. This is something that Blizzard has done in the past as well and it's always made their games feel that much more polished. One of the main strengths of WoW despite it's simpler visual style is that the animations were often much better than other MMOs which made such a huge difference.

Deus Ex: HR for example.

Pretty game, but a lot of the animations just look awkward.

Yeah, I've always felt that quality animation is important to making things feel as if they belong in the game world. It seems to be one of those things like interface design, you really only notice when it's bad and it makes think of or measure/classify game world objects in different ways.

I think this is also one of the main reasons BF3 looks so much more real than BC2. The overall poly-count or texture resolution in the game hasn't changed but the new human animation system and higher fidelity destruction gives you much less of a reason to question the game world.
