Risen ... I know I am behind the times!

Just wanted to check to see if anyone has played this?

Had a crack at the demo and yes compared to others the character animations are kinda crappy, but from what I have played so far there is something drawing me to adventuring further!

Would this be worth the purchase?

The demo just cuts straight to waking up on a beach minus the "how you got there scene". Hoping some toggers can give me feedback on this title see if its worth playing to ready up for Risen 2.

Currently downloading finally got to the end of the demo, seems there was a 360 release as well but very poor visually.

Maybe it was one of those low flyers, I might put a blog entry up once I get into it or complete
