Damn you Shogun 2: Uninstalled!

I love the total war games. Or i did. Until Shogun 2 updated itself and crashed more than any other game i've owned. Ever. I put up with it for the last few weeks, searched forums and updates etc etc, but today was the last straw. Uninstalled, never to be installed again.

Theres no way in hell i'll be getting Rome 2. My mouth has a bitter taste in it now.

Wish I had known this earlier Hadrian, just picked up the total war series the other day on steam. Hopefully theirs a fix for it by time I get around to installing shogun 2 or else will probably be giving it a skip.

When i first bought i did finish a campaign with no problems whatsoever. But then it updated before the recent steam workshop update and began crashing.

I've had very few issues with any of the Total War franchise. I suspect it was more a Steam issue than a game issue. Did you try a repair from within Steam?

Everything short of a complete re-install. I've purged it from the hdd now to make room for Xcom. I may re-install it later on as steam is already filling up my 500gb drive, so i plan to move it all to a 1 or 2 tb drive. It may have a config problem on my system.
