Wasn't really sure where to put this thread...It's an FPS but doesn't really belong in the Shooting Range. Anyone playing this? I'm loving it.

Better than the War of the Roses?

Haven't played that but my mate who has says yes but quite different

Got both.. both are very good.. Have only played 1 decent session of Chivalry though.. Head lopping works a treat :)

Yes it does...I've been playing a fair bit. Seems the best way to unlock the extra weapons is Free for All servers. Played for a few hours on a Duel server last night which was awesome. Basically it was FFA but people would face off, do a battle cry to acknowledge the duel then one on one to the death.

Yeah War of the roses has similar servers.... if peeps are already dueling.. leave them be :)

I'm not a fan to be honest. War of the Roses feels a lot better, if unbalanced atm. This game was loaded with bugs and the controls felt clunky.

Admittedly I haven't played it for long, but first impressions weren't good.

Maybe give it a bit more time Kez...I thought it was clunky until I got used to the timing of the different strikes.

Alright, I've changed my mind. This game absolutely smashes War of the Roses. Its still clunky in its interface, and more buggy, but its much more balanced and strategical.

War of the Roses is simply take the great hammer in full plate (most OP combo) and go swing wildly.

Chivalry is much more strategic, especially in 1v1 duels. You can be effectively with almost any weapon, and ranged is neither OP or under powered.
