On the fence with SC, only because I am too old and too slow for twitch combat. Will probably end up caving and getting a package at some point because I'm a sucker for alphas and betas. But I'm not too old or too slow for an SC forum so let's ask the mods to "Make it so.".

I am also to old for twitch shooters, so hopefully the freelancer exploring, mining trading will fill a gap for us older gamers.

Though I expect to man a turret from time to time.

Hey guys and Gals, really looking forward to this game. I hope it lives up to its potential and they spend the money creating a game that will live on for a long time.
I would also like to see a TOG forum for this game created so we have somewhere to discuss what we want to do after release.
Should we pool our resources and buy a Capital Ship then travel with it as a fleet in our own ships, seeking out unknown systems and opportunities ?
I have pledged a couple of ships now. Started with the Freelancer and moved up to the Constellation then added the LX Aurora to the bundle. Might get a 300i while they are still cheap or perhaps a Cutlass to raid you when your backs are turned...Yaaarrrr.
Looking forward to getting my Citizen card in the mail soon, fingers crossed, should look something like the below..

Anyway look forward to seeing all of you in "the Verse".

Slow to this thread, but not to Star Citizen.

I have the Rear Admiral pack, a hornet and the Aurora LX they just offered in the most recent sale. Undoubtedly I will pledge for more ships as they become available too.

Would be great if we had a TOG Bengal we could base from, I see myself playing more the explorer rather than twitch combat. Will have to see how it unfolds though.

Really can't wait to play this game!

edit +1 to a Star Citizen forum.

I bought in with the Rear Admiral pack back in October as well. I'm pretty excited about the prospect of having a good space sim to putter around in again. I havent really enjoyed space sims since the 90s. That being said, I'm pretty pumped for the exploration and mining aspects of the game on top of the combat.

Looking forward to the game also, but not an Rear Admiral though. I got my freelancer and after it begins maybe add-on 300i or Cutlass. I think they said they will start off with the hanger Star Citizen Hangar App WiP - YouTube module and then go into dog fighting (subject to change).

*edit: Love the amount of time they are putting into the story and lore (the Writer's Guide). They have a timeline also.

Imagine using Oculus Rift with the game!

OK, I am excited!

I backed Star Citizen at the beginning of the crowdfunding campaign, thanks to fond memories of Wing Commander 3. I didn't follow the campaign too closely at the time, but it's grown on me, and I recently upgraded to Rear Admiral.

Really looking forward to it, and I hope to see a TOG Star Citizen corp/guild and forum at some point, preferably before the dogfighting alpha is released.

+1 to a StarCitizen forum.

I've pledged for a Hornet during the kickstarter since I imagine enjoying dogfighting more than exploration. But I may upgrade it to a constellation as the year progresses. I need to know cold hard differences between the different craft before I invest any more money.

but... if there was a way for TOG to obtain a carrier where we could all pitch in? I'd totally drop cash right now.
