Wildman ARPG/RTS/MOBA hybrid on Kickstarter

Gas Powered Games, the creator of Dungeon Siege, Supreme Commander, Demigod, etc. has a Kickstarter open for a new game called Wildman. It's a fusion between a Diablo style ARPG game, MOBA games such as League of Legends, and RTS games like Warcraft III. You are basically a prehistoric warlord that explores and adventures (ARPG) gaining equipment and stuff until you encounter other warlords/towns/civilizations.

Once you come across these other civilizations you start making buildings (RTS) that produce waves of units that battle units from the other side while you wade in and kick some ass (MOBA). After you defeat the other warlord you can take some of their technology which then allows you to upgrade your troops or build newer technology troops the next time you start a war with another warlord.

So in between these RTS/MOBA wars you explore the area killing stuff like in an ARPG progressing through technology levels (some of which are more fanciful).

Here is a video where he describes the basis to how the game will play: Wildman: An "Evolutionary" Action RPG by Gas Powered Games Video Update #4: How to Fit an RTS Into an Action-RPG — Kickstarter

Loos like it will be a lot of fun!

If you've already checked this out in the past make sure to watch their updated pitch video. It explains a lot better what the game will be like. If you haven't seen this game yet, then make sure to check out Wildman! Wildman: An "Evolutionary" Action RPG by Gas Powered Games — Kickstarter
