Works for me. Would be interesting but I agree about the C4 making it too easy. Grenades do work fine for raiding

Default Server Restart and C4

Personally, I think a server restarts a good idea once the new modding program is implemented. Often that means a server wipe.

My personal opinion about C4 is keep it how it is now. Conserve the C4 and make grenades. It keeps people a little more honest. I too have played with the c4 on and it was like Deadzy says. 16 hours of work gone in a 4 hour period when you finally sleep.

Because we are ToG we are a target. I can assure you all that if C4 is on ..there would no longer be a tog town. 100% sure of that. I too get frustrated at not having the C4 to go raiding. It just means we have to be smarter.

Tribes.

I am still trying to think how to do this. When a DC and DVC are implemented I am sure they will have a good idea as to what to do as to become the DC you have to have a game plan of how you want to move forward with the game now and in the future. Whoever takes this role will try do the best for all players, both the crafters and raiders alike.

Personally I think we build a communal ToG base..singular.. In Tog town that is a No contact "Safe" zone for all ToG. I think each tribe moves to a valley and sets up their base with their tribe memebers and then controls that valley. Id like to see a night or nights where ToG band together resources and attack the other factions perhaps once a month. Easy to arrange as a group as there are other groups that are more organised than ToG in some aspects. The smaller attacks whenever a tribe wishes to attack.

Personally I wont feel right attacking other ToG intentionally. For others they wont have that remorse. In GameVox I think tribes have their own channel. and a Tog town channel for general chit chat if people wish. Again this will fall to our DC and DVC to implement.

What do you all think?

Good ideas Melk,
Would have to say the communal area would have to act as a newbie haven until they have some gear and decided which tribe to join. Also some players might have to become communal watch-keepers to make sure the area is not violated or raided (too much)....

Re tribes I think a tog town is still a good idea but more as a starting nest. Once players leave to join a tribe or start their own they would then don a modified TOG tag, e.g. TOG Red, TOG Blue, or even change the colour of their in game name to be blue or red as Sham Rein has done?

I would only worry that factional players may stockpile valuable items in tog town where it's safe so there would have to be some mechanic where established bases weren't allowed for players that have moved in to a faction..

TOG town should be a shared Building for starters and the only other buildings should belong to the "Over-watchers" of TOG Town. One of these players would need to own the main doors to shared lodging so once players leave, they can be removed from the shared doors list. This way they can't leave things in TOG Town as protection.
