Default CS:S Auto team balancing(advantage);Y or N

I think its getting ridiculous. It changes too much. I am given a preference at the start of the game whether t or ct. I'd like to keep my preference! Do you find being switched 3 times a map as annoying as me? How can we vote whether we want this on the server or not? Perhaps the way it auto-balances could be REVISITED? I'd say its a good idea to do it mid map, ONCE, when a team has won 4 or 5 rounds. Thoughts anyone?

Auto team balance can be good if done properly, like enough rounds between autoswitch to allow people to choose to change

auto balancing is one of THE MOST annoying server settings in creation imo
i've run over a dozen different fps servers and it's turned off in all of them

changing teams by choice in a pub game is fine
auto balancing (which is different to auto changing between rounds) is just damn annoying... just play the game or move to another server if you aren't happy imo

Yeah, I don't like auto-balance either, but it looks like its here to stay.

But no one ever does "choose" to change. Who wants to change if you're winning?

The problem with CSS is that you'll get 3/4 really good players all on the one side and often they won't even be able to change because it won't let the team-sizes become unbalanced (we used to allow this, but had to enforce balanced team sizes too as it always ended up being too one-sided)

It was put on because every 2nd or 3rd game turned out to be 0 vs 8. There's a discussion in the TOG CSS forum about it, most people seem happy with it, see here:
