Question GHOST RECON

Hello guys. Sorry if this thread mean nothing to any of you guys out there. Actually I was just wondering if any of you guys out there still playing the oldies Ghost Recon?

Or am I the only one here still stick to this good old game?

If it turns out that there are still a few TOGgers playing this one, I'd be happy to reinstall it. This used to be one of my favorite games by far!

Heck, I'm just going to reinstall it anyway,

I have the original GR and the two expansion packs, and from what I remember, there are literally dozens of great mods out there (I think I kept my favorites and burnt them to a CDR). Now that you can get GR for free (though unfortunately you must be a US resident), we just might have a few more people interested in playing soon.

I played GR from day one and still did up untill a year back The latest GRAW2 is very good and a community is starting to build. i reckon there are three or four Aussie clans looking for competitive game play.

I play most nights as whattyxs on the GA server before you go back what must be six years of graphics try the latest!! Server is full most nights.

I've realized that I only like (tactical) shooters when I can play cooperative with other people (I'm rubbish at competitive games).
GR was perfect for me!
I may look into GRAW2 sometime, but for now I'll reinstall the original GR - that's if I can find the game CDs, grrrr...

Is GRAW2 like GR? Is it mod'able?

The original GR was perhaps my all time fav! haven't played for ages and think I gave my copies away a long time ago. The modding community was awesome for this one.

I was so excited about GRAW, but ultimately disappointed with it when it came out. I have not got my hopes up for GRAW II and even have the demo floating around somewhere not installed yet.

Anyone played it yet and reckons its worth the $$??

Having played all 3 i would say GRAW2 would be as good as Mk1 and a dam site better than GRAW1. The Mod community is starting to come up with some interesting new maps.
