Cool new game coming.
Frontlines
YouTube - Frontlines Fuel of War E3 2007 Trailer Some of you have probably already seen this but for those that haven't it looks pretty awesome. After trying out the ETQW demo I wasn't impressed at all but this game has me excited. |

after paying the ET demo Iagree that this looks much better.
Ive been with BF for a long time and I spose after what will be nearly 16 months (by jan 08 ) with only one expansion pack and a never seen 1.4 patch - I will definitley keep a close eye on it.

Yep, Frontlines IS being produced by the creators of the Desert Combat mod. Frank Delise was at the helm then, and still is now. Kaos Studios are essentially where Trauma Studios left off before being bought out by EA.
He's been noted as saying that Frontlines is what they wished they were ultimately capable of making Desert Combat into. The Xbox look and feel to it is due to it's multi platform release. It'll no doubt be on PS3 as well. Most new games are opting for the multi platform releases these days... It just makes a hell of a lot more sense financially. It used to seem that PC games were copying the console ones to a degree, but these days, it's the consoles mimicking PC's. I believe Sony have made a new deal with Logitech to develop a keyboard and mouse setup to assist with titles like this. Don't see this game as a console port. It's going to be developed as a good game... on each of it's platforms. Frank has been a PC boy for a long time, so I'm pretty confident the main focus will be with us. |

There is some great 'single-player' games coming out or have just come out. Ofcourse BF2142 all the way as far as multiplayer
 No-one has mentioned Halo 3 that is out today for the lucky souls that can afford an XBOX360. Lets not forget Stranglehold and Bioshock!
