Has anyone tried mapping keys to joystick in software such as logitech profiler?

Just had a fiddle then and it looks like it would work....my biggest problem is that i have to unplug my joystick otherwise i constantly spin to the left.

Worth a try if you have the software.

Yer I tried right at the start with the jets.
Got some to work but not well.
Had trouble with the up/down/throttle, so gave up and am waiting for joystick support patch

hey guys, in the GSA forums i asked KAOSMitch if voip and joystick support is coming in patch 1.1.0 and his reply was:

The patch is currently in testing but phase 1 of joystick support may make it in (assuming testing goes well). I should have info on that and other future features soon.

YEHHHHHHHHHH..got my Logitech joystick working for helo...I HAVE THE INFO IF REQUIRED...

Joystick controls are still in development and will be fully implemented in patch 1.2.0.

However, you can activate joysticks by following these instructions; if you are not used to editing configuration files, we do not recommend it and do not officially support doing this at this time.

To enable joysticks you must do the following:

* Locate the file C:\Program Files\THQ\Frontlines-Fuel of War\GCGame\Config\DefaultInput.ini
* Open the file in Notepad and locate the section "--- PC Joystick keys ---"
* Follow the directions in the comments.

Again, you can cause problems in your Frontlines installation by making these changes so we advise against it but the option is available.
