[Crysis] could some one help pls

just got me a copy of crysis and the prob is evey time i try and open up a new account it wont work keeps sayin thats the wrong user name for email account anyone had the same prob if i got into retreve password it say no email was sent any help would be a grate hell

are you patched to v1.21?
if no then do so

you need:
v1.2
v1.2 - v1.21



two things i had to do:

• i use Norton AntiVirus and had to allow Crysis.exe permission to access the internet via the 'Internet Worm Protection'
-open Norton AntiVirus
-Options
-Norton AntiVirus
-Real-Time Protection
-Internet Worm Protection
-Program Control
-Add


this got me to the log-in stage for multiplayer
(before i did this the screen would just lock up and i had to restart comp to get out of it)


• next problem i couldn't access anything with my current gamespy id, and like yourself, email reset didn't work
- i'm assuning you have a current gamespy id -

so......

-start game
-multiplayer
-internet
-new account

just type in your current details as if you are logging in and it should work from that point on


note at bottom of menu screen:

YOU CAN USE YOUR EXISTING GAMESPY ID TO CREATE A NEW NICKNAME. IN ORDER TO DO THAT, ENTER ASSOCIATED EMAIL AND PASSWORD.

a strange setup that but worked eventually... other games have always allowed me to just type in my current gamespy id details and would work

...and if you don't have a current gamespy id, try registering out of game first
