Element thanks for dropping by.

All I was pointing out to you was that one of your guys a new recruit named KillHazard is on the AASA ban list. I did this because I am, as is the rest of TOG, anti cheat. I have supported C1X-Boltski on some of his posts in finding cheats in the Australian AA community.

I thought that it was applicable to let you know in this case that you COULD be allowing a cheat into your clan.

In saying that there could be a mistake and the player in question does always have the right of reply, but you should be aware that more and more servers are supporting the AASA lists and that your recruit would be banned from playing on them. We know that the Exetel server is AASA listed and thats just one example.

I'm happy to leave it at that but that fact that Rude Awakening removed the post from the forum without any reply left me thinking that either you guys were going to ignore the AASA list and were sweeping it under the carpet.

Check their site for further info

www.aaserveradmins.com Navigate to the banlists. When you are there scroll down to the bottom link "PRIVATE UNOFFICIAL SERVER"

Select Edit from the menu, Find on this page. Type in C1X. There he is.

Hooah!!

I said

[11:25] Rude Awakening: AirDaleOps said the 2 members we looked into were not cheating, this is why it was deleated.

First I didn't say I deleated it, nor did I.
If it was deleat the reason would of been because we had just talked to Snake from AirDaleOps.
He told me that something had been changed in his inf file that causes it and that it is not a banable thing.
He also said that they are getting alot of the same issue showing up and that he would not ban any of them for it as it was not a cheat.
We look into everyone we are told are cheating, we let him in our clan after AirDales gave us the ok.

But this dosn't answer why he has been banned after they said they wouldn't.
So now I have to go back and find out why after not long doing it.
This was all looked into not even a week ago.

We don't like cheats just as much as the next clan.
They have killed what was once a great game, a game that was once about skill and honor.

Now you can't fit all that in the shout box..lol, and if I had seen your post I myself would of answered.
But as it was deleated I couldn't.

Hope this has shed some light on the issue.

Wow see what you have done Element, made us all join the TOG forums to post about this issue lol.

As Rude stated, we do not like cheaters. We have an anticheat policy however there are glitches in the systems that mean changes to ini files show up as cheats.

We take all accusations seriously and get both sides of the story before acting. A ban on a list does not automatically mean we kick them from the clan. We investigate first.

What we should have done is contact you and advise you of the outcome of the investigation. For that we are sorry.

We can learn from this and as a start we are looking at what 'tactics' and tweaks will and wont be accepted at a clan level.

If there are any questions fell free to contact us on our forums www.c1x.net/forums

thanks

sorry about that guys, this is mostly my fault. when you posted it, i was sent a link to the post. i simply cut it from there and pasted it into the leaders section so that we could talk about it and investigate.

i should have left you a thankyou note. it's getting harder to recruit people these days as you would probably know. most of them have something attached to them, draw errors, blank SS's and CVAR kicks for stuff we don't even know about. some of our most senior and trusted members have been caught with stuff, and it's turned out a mistake and we're glad we didn't broadcast it. others have anomolies and just to be sure we don't front a match with a cheat, we keep them from playing without ever telling them we are investigating ^_^ it's all quite complicated. we've never to our knowledge had a cheat. we've found a couple others though.

anyway, cheers for the heads-up. they seem to think it was an error, so we'll go with that for now. if you have information, we are grateful for it. ^_^
