Yep DoD has been out for a while, i still have it installed and play it every now and again, It 's a Half life mod like Camper Strike, i'm waiting for the new DoD to come out i think it's called DoD source like the new counter strike.

Very fun mod infact. Takes some time getting used to though. I am waiting for the source version of the game. The original game just looks too old for me now.

"Day Of Defeat : Source" is coming out soon, currently in Beta.

Thats probably what the magazine was talking about.

DOD:S is on the Half Life 2 engine.

Now that's something worth waiting for. Should be awesome with the Source engine.

yeah it should kick bum! I played the early beta's back in the old CS and gave it the flick but then checked out the later version and it rocked!!!!

the source version when it cums out should make quite a splash!
