Why not have a public CSS forum with a TOG only sub forum..???
Seems a little strange that i can play on the server but i'm unable to view the forums because im under 25.

Why is it only CSS thats private? (as far as i can tell neway)

I'm not looking to join TOG.
I've just come from OGN (i was Head admin for CSS for about 2 years).
Things have changed and since i left my position at OGN a few weeks ago i've been lookin for a great server(s) to play on. After playing the TOG CSS server for a few days it's brought back memories of CS when i first started playing because of the large map rotation, it reminds me of playing in the beta days instead of non stop D2 like every other network. + the community is fantastic.

I'm not interested in joining tog (not 25 neway). I just wanna play on the server and interact with the community (via forums).

But i guess that's the whole reason for TOGs 25 rule, keep kids like me out
I completely understand why, however it's a shame as i woulda enjoyed bein a part of it.

OK.

Such a great community attracts large numbers of players but if they were all allowed in then the community wouldn't be so great.

As you would all understand, most networks are full of turds and it makes it unpleasant to play there.

Yeah, like you say, many sites are full of "annoying people" which means, to keep TOG a haven from them we need to have an age limit that sort of stops most of them annoying us.

You're not the first half decent sub-25 person to come knocking and each time it's just as disappointing to have to say, sorry, no can do. It's a shame really, I've met plenty of youngsters who have what it takes to be mature and tolerant etc but it's hard to sort out the riff from the raff

If you play any console games, most of our section is public. There's a TOG only section, but we mainly keep to the public section.
