When I first installed the game it ran really well on the veryhigh detail lvl.

Unfortunately after about two hours it crashed and now it crashes every time after only about 10 mins.

I am sure this is a computer issue not a game issue.

Before it started to play up however the game was fantastic. It looks almost as good (if not AS good) as crysis ever did. The gameplay is good but I think it will only suit some players due to the fact that there is so much driving from place to place.

Hopefully I can get my machine sorted out cos I cant wait to be able to play it properly.

Just installed and ran for an hour or so,looks great..........got everything video wise cranked to the max 1920x1200 res.
I haven't been in a large fire fight yet,so don't know if I will have to cut the settings back (Crysis at 1920x1200 made me cut back to medium settings to ensure good game play).
The enemy actually take a few shots to kill, which make a diffence than the usual point and shoot games of late.
Will post more as I have played more...........gonna have to buy myself a GPS in RL now

Specs
QX6850@3.3ghz
8800 GTS 512 O/Ced
4gig RAM
Vista 64 and running the game in DX10
X-Fi sound

Would post my speed, but the DRM is preventing the game from launching.

I get the following error:

Conflict with Emulation Software detected.
Please have a look at SecuROM for further, more detailed information.

However there is none installed on this pc.

So much for DRM.

NEd, no never had any software apart from games/vent/TS and system tuning utilities etc on the box. It is a dedicated drive for gaming. All my other work which includes authoring DVD video's etc, gets done on Mac OSX which is on another disk on the system which is formatted in Apple's HFS filing system and therefore unreadable to Windows.

From reading around the web I think it is likely to be caused by the fact that I have multiple drives in the system and that it is assuming due to the different drives that I am running emulation software (two drives are formated for Mac OSX, and one for windows).

I have had 3 mails from Securerom about this to no avail. They even sent me an analysis program which failed to work.

I would suggest that this DRM solution has problems for some users. It is also worth noting that this is the ONLY game that I have had issues with on this system.

My personal view is that when DRM gets to the stage where it is causing this level of issue with people (and I know I am not the only one) then they need to re-think their approach.

A shame that this is what happens when companies decide that they need to force this level of DRM onto the public.

Some have obviously gotten around the DRM as it's already for download on sites like utorrent/isohunt and has been for a week or so.

I guess this is what scares the likes of Ubisoft into using DRM measures.

Obviously works.....NOT.....

Shouldn't be linking to cracked torrents on here rasta, no matter how good your intentions.

Ulric, it could be some of the drivers or bootcamp software you're using. As Mac hardware uses EFI apple might be using some kind of emulation software to support native windows drivers just like many people use EFI emulation to install OS-X on regular PCs. Try asking around on some mac forums to see if anyone else has had issues with this.

I too was surprised with the levels of DRM for this game. SecureROM and online activation is a bit much.

Anyway, it runs well on my rig but it does crash a bit, but that's only after an one-two hours of play - it has happened three times now.

DX10
1920x1200 4XAA
Everything on Ultra High.
40 to 60 FPS.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 3.6Ghz
4GB DDRII RAM
