Also if you get weird framerate stuttering while playing this game like I did in dx10, try putting GFX_maxFPS 30 into console.
This is a temp fix, either do that or run it in dx9 till ubi patches it.

I thought the FOV in FarCry was a tad too narrow. I always felt too close to everything and I found myself spinning around to see stuff way too often.

Too many console optimisations ... =p

I use X1.32/Y1.183 for 16:10 res. Basically I just played around with it until I felt the horizontal FOV was right then used my sniper scope to adjust the vertical until it was a circle.
