Far Cry Co-op add on......

Has anyone tried out the Far Cry co-op add on mod for the game? I was going to install it and I wanted to know if anyone else has tried it out and how it was working. Marauder keeps trying to get me to try this with him and I just don't have the CD key for it yet. Let me know what you think of it and maybe he and I can get together with you on that.

BTW, I just found the Coop mod for the game Rune. It was a pretty fun single player, but they beefed it up for Multiplayer and it looks darn fun. Was thinking about giving it a go soon myself.

Good luck with FarCry. Great game that could only be better with more people playing it.

Damn wrong side of the Pond. This is a top game and I'll definitely give the co-op a whirl sometime this week (work permitting). Let you know if and when I get going. Thanks for the heads up.

I got FarCry, but never have played MP games, only SP. Love the graphics!

Yeah those trigens really stank - a unique game suddenly felt a lot more like HL. Would have been more fun if they stuck with the whole "mad German bastard building mercenary army on pacific island" schtick.

Yeah you're both right. I never finished it actually, bailed out at the point where they had the girl hostage and you had to kill the monsters without shooting her. Must have tried 20 times.
Still, up to that point, the most fun I've had single-player.

my mate has installed the Co op and has played it lots with his gf. says it is an awesome mod. works well.
