Just played through the original Far Cry. Bit dated now but the game can still look pretty good when it wants to... and the water effects are still top notch 5 years later. I don't know if it's just a case of my skills dwindling but the game seemed excessively hard toward the end in spots

Truly great FPS. I loved this game. I have an old machine still running windows 95, and I still play the odd game of Outlaws on it, as well as Syndicate Wars (not an FPS) and Duke Nukem 3D.
Blood has been re-release on classic gaming service Good Old Games.

One unit whole Blood - GOG.com

Compatible with Windows XP & Windows Vista (32 & 64 bit).
Apparently also Windows 7 64-bit compatible - LINK -

Im still playing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield..not as old as a few games(only like 7 years old) but still a good game to play and still a few people playing it online
Feel free to add me on steam, while not a full member does not mean I'm not up for playing a few games with or against you guys.

I still play UT2004 when inbetween games.

I missed playing Doom,Quake,Descent the first time round as I did not have a 386,486 at the time.
I did own an amiga 500 ( and still do) at the time and I still play the games and use the apps even today.

I find older pc games still won't run too well with winxp prof like mech commander 1 or 2, it crashes to desktop even with the 98 mode compatibility, which is a shame.

Guild Wars:
Arack the Bold W/R 20 : DP
The Sandgroper N/E 20 : SS
Abigail E/Me 20 : MoM

Games currently playing: (PC) Bioshock 2,Aliens vs predator, stalker: COP,BF:BC2 (PS3) Darksiders,Bayonetta, FF XIII, Wet, Just cause 2.

That's why Steam and GoG are such good deals - they only sell games that have been re-coded to run on current systems
