ETQW Problem

I seem to be having this problem where ETQW will actually load and show main screen but when I try to join a server or change a setting it fails and kicks me back to windows saying ETQW.exe has failed.

Specs are:
E6600 CPU
8800GTS 640M
4GB RAM
WINXP

Hope you guys can help me coz I just cbf trying anymore but still want to play.

found out something interesting while trolling the ETQW forums. It may have something to do with Dual Cores. I downloaded one of the programs that some guy suggested and ran ETQW with each core. Ended up working fine on either core but run it together - FAIL!!!!

Don't know how I'm going fix this or I just run ETQW with one core..

im using vista ultimate 64,run ok with Q core 6600 , but it wont boot in unless u give it quality graphic setting, give it performance mode an u will get orange screen, dont know if this is of any use to you
