Q&A about GSC over X-fire

I was informed about a free program called GSC to use as a clan chat program.They sugested that i use this instead of X-Fire because X-fire causes lag.
Does anyone now anything about this program ,i downloaded it, and does X-Fire cause lag .

it looks interesting... can you let us know how it runs etc if you try it?
I'd love to get some feedback on this.

As far as Xfire goes, it uses VERY little resources and zero bandwidth when gaming (by default). I don't know anyone who says they get lag with it. I can't see how anyone could with systems now-a-days.

I guess the best thing to do is try them both

It also depends on what game your playing, Different TOG divisions use different things.

For most source/steam based games Ventrilo is the program of choice and yet amongst the Battlefield crowd TeamSpeak is the program used.

I got the feedback on X-Fire from a player in CA so that could be just his pc.I havent run GSC yet because i need another user to run it with and my clan members are a little slow to catch up..lol and most of them dont have headset/mic.But as soon as i do i will let you know.

I find ventrilo a little confusing and im still not that pc savvy yet but im learning, thanks for you input m8.TeamSpeak is really easy to use i find.Thanks
