Default Terminator Game footage (3rd person)

Linky at kotaku for video. Kotaku - Terminator Salvation Rains Death From Above - Terminator Salvation

The reviewer didn't think much of it, but I thought that it looked good. Nothing particularly stand-outish, but then most FPS' don't really seem to anyway. I was thinking though, how would multiplayer work with one side made of robots that can take way more damage?

How about intrinsically swarming one side. Say there's always 2 players to the 1 robot side to be considered "balanced"

Its on STEAM now (pre release listing), and showing as Singleplayer, or Co-op, but no other multiplayer optoins.

Jaded Gamer here... Looks really good, but the cynic in me knows it'll be like all other movie tie-in's (Quantum of Solace anyone?).

Sure the visuals are appealing, but third person over the shoulder?

Sure the soundtrack is perfect, but it's a cross-platform release...

Sure I'm a die-hard Terminator fanboi who's getting all excited about this, but do I really think it can be done, and done well?

Jaded answer is no. But damn it does look promising!

AUSGamers previewed this, and they weren't very flattering.

I've never been able to play third-person.. just can't get my aim in. I guess it's the way the camera is.

Read the review over at Gametrailers

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/re...alvation/49400

They don't seem to think it's much good

Graphics look ok and the cover system seems solid but they say that it's very short.

When you consider it will most likely be AU$100 bucks, I am not so sure that it would be worth the dough.

Maybe it will be like Cysis Warhead and only be $50

I didn't buy warhead.

I was pissed that they weren't advancing the story, and instead were just rehashing what had happened at the same time.

[edit]
PS - besides, I didn't like the character =P
