Some really relevant news was just released about this game. you're going to have the option of playing it as either a regular multiplayer, or masively online game. The once off purchase lets you play the game (with 30 days of MMO play), then you can choose to either pay nothing more and keep playing in the regular modes we're familiar with (including co-op), or become a subscriber and play in the alliance vs alliance meta game (along with access to extra features, which will be exclusive to this play and not interfere or underpriveledge non-subscribers in regular multiplayer action).
