Darkest of Days
(Releasing September 2009)
PC and Xbox

I just noticed this one over at Kotaku, its a time jumping fps game where you use a wide range of weapons that may or may not be relevant to the time period (I noticed an assault rifle being used against roman soldiers... if I was one of them I'd be calling HAX!).

Has anybody heard any more on this?

WOW! No I hadn't heard of this... looks interesting

I like the footage, would be cool to be able to have a choice as to what weapons to use and then to replay each section with a variety of options.

And of course co-op would be awesome! I see no mention of multiplayer or co-op on the site.

I found a demo on FilePlanet..

Just tried the demo, interesting premise. I like the idea of fighting in different historical battles. Using a fully automatic weapon during the Civil War was odd but fun There seems to be a bug after you die it gets really choppy, I had to exit the game and load for it to work right again.

I agree. I was wondering what story line they would use for this one. Without spoiling anything, it works well. The old western weapons of the late 1800s are great! and it's definitely interesting being involved in wars of old with modern weaponry

Tried the demo too. Interesting twist but I was pretty uninspired with the gameplay and the graphics engine.

I think I need to see where multiplayer will go before I plonk down hard earnds on this title. I could take it or leave it at this point.
