[SWAT4] Co-op anyone? In Oz?

I will try to pop up for a little while. Depends on RL and AA (thats americas army not the the other AA) commitments. Xfire is brana I think. I played a little co-op with a mate on a LAN yesterday for an hour or so. Was a little laggy in places especially when multiple naughty people were coming through a door shooting and bangs were going off etc.

I just found a SWAT 4 co-op server run by Game Arena.

We should try that on Tues night. Will reduce lag. There may be some tards on board though - if it's not real popular, we may snag it for ourselves.

I'm so pleased we could all connect in a peer-peer situation and lag wasn't mentioned once.

It took us a few missions to work out our open and clear procedure but I think we were looking pretty pro towards the end of the night. Right up until Father tazered compliance civilians.

I think in future, when we mirror the door and see hostages, we make Father gold member 4. If there are hostiles with body armour, we put him in point as gold member 1.

Was great fun. Nearly a full element. Father needs to be Element Lead next (heaven help us ).

My next SWAT nights are Friday and Tuesday next week.

Direct IP was quite decent there Fox, I can't say I was experiencing any lag, ping sat around 100 which is fine.

I'll take point next time.

Was great fun but I demand a full inquiry into Fathers excessive taser use.

Was good fun guys. No worries at all with lag. Thanks fox. Father needs to go to some 're-education' sessions on reasonable force Just cause you got the taser doesn't mean you have to use it every time

Will have to see what happens with AA on Friday. If I am not needed I can probably turn up. Ended up getting some nice movement happening. May have to work on the concept of a dead zone in the room. Father behind me with a taser is a little nervy.

If any other SWAT'ers are watching this thread, we have a team of four that's doing this twice a week at the moment. A fifth player, no matter the skill level, would round out our five man element nicely.

We played for 4 1/2 hours non-stop and loved every tear-gasing moment!!
