Or we could just rewrite history and do away with the trenches all together.

I guess game makers focus on wars that are, for lack of a better word, popular. It's like with WW1 and the Korean War, you hardly hear about them anymore.

There's this show on the Discovery Channel of Foxtel here in Australia, called "Future Weapons." When I think of the automatic shotguns, mile long semi-automatic sniper rifles, and tank piercing rounds (screw the body armor)... maybe its because everyone in a modern game would be OP?

PS - whose checking out COD:MW2?
