For the temp ban. I'm sure I did something wrong...? Its only 30 minutes, but apparently 30 minutes was enough to compel me to whine. I love the TOG CoD. I don't think I broke any rules today? It was what, about 4:20ish PM pacific time when I got the boot.

Dunno what happened...I'll contact the other guys and find out.
We've had quite a few new members on, and it's hard to know who's who when new members don't make a hello post in the forum to let us all know who you are. We often get people playing on our servers who wear TOG tags who aren't Toggers so that's what might have happened.

Why don't you make a hello post in the COD Forum and say hi. This will help to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Anyway, I'm sorry it happened. We're making in roads to make sure this won't happen again.

I saw you get kicked for PB unable to authenticate tonight.

Maybe that was the reason you were kicked before as well?

A PB Init Failure won't tell you that you can't rejoin the server for 30 minutes. Someone had to temp ban him. As GEEZA has said, all apologies. We'll get it sorted out for you.

I think you saw me get kicked for the PB failure when my system locked up on me KarmaJay. When I was temp'd it gave the nice little (Admin Decision) not PB. Its really not that big of a deal anymore, I just waited for the ban to expire and went back in. All I hoped to accomplish with the post earlier was to find out why I was banned.

No big deal anymore.

Something else to consider guys:

A number of people from within TOG have had a similar problem on the US servers, and have even been banned. Looking at the logs showed that no one had actually banned them. Perhaps no one actually banned/temp'd PewP, but this glitch kicked him. Has this been resolved?

I was an Admin on about 20 min before that time and I had to kick a player to make room for a TOG member. I used ASE to kick a Random player but I did not set any bans and I know I didn't kick a TOG member. There was another admin on at the same time. I will talk to him to see if he might have accidently done it. PewP if it was me, I am truelly sorry. I will double check my settings in a few hours when I get home.

It is stipulated in the opening screen when you first join the server that if the server is full you may be kicked to make room for a TOG member who wants to play and there are no spare slots left.

A warning is given via ingame chat along the lines of:
"Kicking random player to make room for TOG member"
A couple seconds later a person is kicked, and a slot freed for a TOG member to join the server. Obviously, people in spectate mode are first to go as they are taking up a slot and not playing.

Fair enough I think, and done in an open, honest and polite manner.

Being temp banned for 30 minutes, and being kicked take make room for a TOG member are two different things. I wasn't kicked to make space, nor was there a warning that a "random" person was going to be kicked to make space. It is TOG's server, and you guys can kick and ban who ever you place at any time. I'm not even remotely opposing that point, its the right of who ever it is that PAYS for a server. Which isn't me. It would make a lot more sense if it had been a permenant ban, instead of a 30 minute temporary ban if I had broken some rule, wouldn't it?

I dunno, but it is pretty easy to find out how it happened. The server logs hold that information if I remember correctly. So it shouldn't be a very hard thing to figure out why, or how it happened. Although since it hasn't been said why it happened thus far I assume it won't be said at all, so oh well. Its gone and done.
