Borderlands Port Flop
Hey Guys,
Well my exposure to borderlands PC was short lived ... very dissapointed with the effort put into the Australian Retail release, regarding visuals Got the game on 360 also side by side same monitors and yes max settings (if you can call them that) the PC does look a little better I even follow various threads on how to force AA etc ... but I mean I love my PC its first for gaming hands down I just cant let this one by LOL. If other versions are sexy I am jealous  Anyways to all those I might have had some good games with Ill be 360'ing this one ... take care guys

I'd imagine patches would heighten the difference between the two...
Plus , for the life of me I can't stand FPS on a gamepad... Second plus, there is a huge group of TOGgers getting this on PC (no loot ninjas) just out of curiosity...what are your PC specs

Hey guys, been out of the tog loop for a bit
 i think borderlands on pc is fantastic, well after playing the xbox 360 version and not being able to control the wretched thing, i swapped it at eb for the pc version. i dont mind the gfx i think theyre better than the xbox360? i heard ps3 was crappy. anyone up for coop? im currently a level 3 hunter

Welcome back then. It seems some here are venturing into co-op while others are holding off to see what fixes may be on the horizon for the co-op bug - sticking to single player in the interim.

PC:
i7 920 @ 3.8 GA-EX58-UD5 Kingston HyperX 6gig 1600 XFX GTX 295 Raptor / Cavier I mean yea borderlands is ok but I am used to maxing everything, I guess I was just disappointed that the visual options in Borderlands are very limited ... I don’t know I might have been having a bad day, but just a resolution increase is all I can really see. I hope a patch does add more options and I am happy to load up some co-op PC or 360 if anyone is interested, just throwing out my thoughts. Also playing Flashpoint 2 if anyone is down very nice co-op if you got a good spare few hours for 1 mission excellent game.
