Looks like gearbox are taking a leaf out of fallout 3's book, announcing the first in what will be a series of extra content for Borderlands. Personally, I think I will pay the $10 to extend the playability of this game.

yeah...me too...BUT, shame they won't take another leaf out of Fallout3's book and release an SDK. It hasn't hurt Bethseda's bottom line , people still buy Official DLC but there are also hundreds of free user made mods about

I was having a discussion with a housemate about the inevitable DLC's and pricing. Personally I see nothing wrong with paying $10 for this. The FO3 DLC's added between 4-6 hours worth of game time each, which in my books was damn good value. If Gearbox choose to add an extra 4+ hours onto each DLC, I'll be in like Flynn

Well the man in the Vid said 6-10 hours. As slow as I play, I'll get more bang for my US-buck.

I noticed the monsters were mid 30's in lev el that they showed, which was presumably the "front" of the DLC. That would make it a natural progression for people that had finished the first playthrough. I wonder if it will scale at all though for those on their second; probably not unless they were up at 50.
