[Borderlands] GameRanger IDs?

I just fired up gameranger. Do we need to have another listing of ToGgers who use it and what their ids are?

Does Gameranger really need another Login? really? can you only add GR friends or can you have GS friends too? 'Cause if not this alternative bites.

Could you tell us in here if you've added a Spy please. Also if anyone else can confirm adding a Ranger.

We get this sorted and I'll complile lists. But really Spectre, you'd be the guy to tell us you've got both don't you? Do you really need both? I haven't even ran an external GS app yet. I used to run Comrade back the days of Battlefield.

It's for hosting isn't it? Is that why?

To find your ID, search for your Nickname in the "Add Friends" part and note it down from the results (probably elsewhere but I found it this way).

Only GR Accounts. However it is damn easy. And yes, cause the gamespy/port opening blows. There is another thread slightly further down it if you wish to discuss further.

I was asking for this reason. I have had a terrible time using the gamespy feature; since launch, I have had about 3 quality games with that pos. I tried game ranger and easily had quality games that same night.

I was reluctant to use another 3rd party program, but it works very well. I forgot to add my id to my post, I'll list it tonight.

hehe... I thought Game Ranger could be a good choice. I'll have to fire it up and find out what my ID is. You know since I started playing the game I've only been in 2 MP games because of the port bungle...

The website has released a comprehensive lists of ports to open along with what those ports are actually used for. I know the issue of port forwarding can be taxing and a tech nightmare for the least savvy. I had to use a website tute to do it.

It's worked for some but, then again, it's worked for some. hence GR
