New borderlands bugs after the patch?

My settings(mouse and audio) are going back to default everytime i restart the game, and for some reason I'm not getting skill points anymore, i'll level up, and get the u have a skill point message, but when i got to apply it i 've got no remaining skill points.

is this happening for anyone else?

I had made a change in the ini file. Only to display the fifth line. After their patch had addressed the exact issue I wanted to go back and change it to what it was. After all it looked like they just made the window a bit bigger. Well, now I can't find the ini file any more. or the back-up i made.

Also the Ba*tards reset the auto login. I had forgotten my password. It was a game in itself just trying to get back in. at least I fixed that anyway.

The change I made is still there after the patch.

Yes, apparently now i can host games again. Lets hope this holds true tomorrow as well.

I think it wiped all my host-age settings (had to redo my login, character selection etc) and that resolved whatever issue I was having.

The patch wiped my mouse sensitivity settings, but I didn't notice anything else amiss. No problems with Gamespy login details/password not being remembered. I'm not sure if I've been in the situation of having a character level since the patch, so have to wait and see on this I guess.

I was looing in Cooked PC. Once in the right place I just pushed the copy of the file I made back into it's home.
And that's why, kiddies, you make back-ups before you make changes.

What's really giving me greif now is that, occasionally and randomly Borderlands will minimize to the tray.

What's with that?

Also smoke and water are behaving terribly. had no problem before but now they disappear, or rather appear in oblique strips that come and go.

I'm also getting that but not every time I play. Probably around 10-20% of the time I start the game. If I exit and restart it's fine.

Do you have MSN? That always happens to me when someone messenges. I turn it off while gaming now.

windows 7 allows my antivirus "buy me!" thingy and msn messages to alt-tab me from the game, annoying but i deal with it.
