Who is interested in Global Agenda

MMO but I thought I would post here because of its Shooter elements ...

What do you guys think?

As like with most MMO's I will properly give it a go, I am interested in the concept of owning regions I suppose that would be similar to EVE wonder if it will pull it off tho.

Heck yeah, I've been following this game for Ages. There's a huge thread in the MMO forum on this with a lot of info and gameplay footage (but you can just youtube a ton of that up). To give people a quick idea of the game...

Its a self-titled "spy-fi" genre, set in the future. There's an orwellian commonwealth force trying to control the world and you're an agent that has escaped. The gameplay itself is very TF2 influenced, but added in there's co-op pve as well. You can gather gear for different loadouts for each class (recon, medic, assault, robotics).

You don't have to subscribe, you can keep playing from just the single purchase and do the co-op and multiplayer fun, but you can also choose to subscribe and take part in the persistant world campaign to control everything. Campaigns reset every few months (last I heard), and give you resources to build better equipment. You have some control over automated defences and stuff so even when you don't have #'s it 'may' be protected enough. Oh and being a subscriber also gives you continuing content unavailable to non-subscribers (new co-op pve stuff).

Actually also been following this for awhile, definatly looking forward to it. Traditional (mmo)rpg's are great and all, but I'm a shooter nerd at heart ^^

LOL love this!

Oh I forgot to mention that the non-subscribed multiplayer won't be "outclassed" by subscribers because the equipment you can use is kept even (although subscribers will have to compete to keep to the top tier!).

Yeah I intend to play this one.

Still not sure about this. FPS run on some far-away server?

No way I'm shelling out $$$ before I get to demo it.

I'll give it a crack.

Just an FYI - I've pre-ordered (which gives beta access). While I cannot say anything until the NDA has lifted I'd be happy to share what I can at that time, which should probably be shortly before launch.

[edit]
PS - Unless I can get permission to do a beta review, which I'll probably try; but we'll see.
