Just announced by Ubisoft Paris, this latest installment in the long running series will feature both single and multiplayer action. Unfortunately that is all we know for now.

Hmm... the last one was a wee bit... crap.

I want them to ditch the whole "advanced" or "future" soldier thing and go back to ghost recon's roots, hardcore yet approachable tactical team based sim.

With Modern Warfare's sales recently? I'd expect to see a lot more current/near-future titles.

Hmmm not whole lot in that. Looks like there will be some european and middle-eastern orientated storylines perhaps. I swear a couple snipers popped up around the 42sec mark, kitted out in some sort of body hiding camo. They phased in too, was that a cloak?!

The first one was awesome, they stuck to simple modern day tech and focused on tactical gameplay. Since then (advanced war fighter) they've been pushing this elite solider of the future angle and it just hasn't worked as well. Not sure what to make of this one.

I like the sound of that co-op storyline mode. Especially if it comes packed with features to limit to to your buddy list.
