ARMA2-OA Scenarios

I've completed Boot Camp and I'm working my way through the Scenarios before I jump into the Campaign. Has anyone here completed them all? Did you do so and complete all of the side missions eg. Damaging the Base (Service Depot and Gas Station) in E04: Jackal?


E04: Jackal

OMFG how intense is this mission!! For me it started off full stealth mode with the occasional twitch shot to bouts of ramboness then back to stealth and ended up with me running for my life up a hill for exfiltration! I was determined to complete the main objective and to also complete the 'Damage the Base' objective!

Here's how I did it for those interested.

*SPOILER ALERT* Info in white..
- I parachuted right next to the fence closest to the Tanks.
- I planted satchels under each Tank. (You can find extra ammo and satchels etc in ammo crates between the before mentioned fence and Tanks.)
- I then went over to the Gas Station (around the outside), killed the two guards beside it and planted a satchel.
- I then made my way back around to the tanks again.
- I found a good spot to start shooting the enemy in barracks as they ran out after the alarm went off after I shot a guard in a tower... chaos begins!
- I started to take out as many as I could and also set off the satchels destroying all of the Tanks and the Gas Station.
- After about 20 kills I got shot at so craled under the fence and sprinted around the back way and camped it up for a bit.
- After clearing more enemies I went back into the compound and placed a satchel at the large doors of the Service Depot and head back outside around the compound to the base of the hill setting of the final explosion.
- Now I had to take out a few more on the hill and run for exfiltraion! I was getting shot at near the top of the hill but I eventually made it!

Regular difficulty

I failed about a dozen times before I finally completed it.
Tough, Intense, Unforgiving.
It was an awesome ride
loving this game!



Onto the next scenario soon..

I'm playing the SP campaign in Arma2 atm, I"ll definitely want to finish that one before doing any more scenarios or move on to OA. OA is purely MP for me.

"Jackal" was an awesome mission. I also enjoyed "One Shot One Kill".
