Default [Borderlands] DLC4 is out...

...on Steam at least.

Patch 1.40 updated the game this morning, followed by Claptrap's Robot Revolution. Note - this is NOT the scaling update patch (including the increased level cap), that has yet to be released.

There's a known bug affecting some of the "collections" achievements across all platforms; Gearbox is aware of the problem and has provided a temporary workaround. A more complete fix is due in the 1.50 (scaling) patch and the fix will be retroactive (so as long as you've collected enough items for those achievements, the achievement will unlock next time you load that save game).

In the interim, that's not going to stop us from shooting more annoying little claptraps!

I need this DLC, all those wasted rounds into a claptraps camera will finally serve a purpose.

Must resist urge to play.

Managed to level up nicely when playing DLC1,2,3 all in one go when level cap was increased.

Gave this a quick burl and was quite pleasantly surprised by picking up a few shotguns off the clap traps (a x2 fire elemental which wasn't half bad tbh)

Just to be clear, DLC4 doesn't include the new scaling patch (the one talked about in the Kotaku article) - the scaling patch is still "coming" (originally it was called "1.50", now it's apparently "1.41").

The scaling patch (1.41) is out. If your character auto-levels straight from 61 to 69 (or 50 to 58 too I guess), it means you've modified your save game file with the WillowTree editor (which screws up your XP).

A level 61 character running around T-Bone Junction and surrounds (DLC3) encounters level 62 and 63 enemies (eg., Knoxx is 63). The Farmoury is still open for business.

Haven't tried Fyrestone or Crawmerax yet - based on what I've seen, I expect enemies around Fyrestone to be about the same (level 62/63). How easily you defeat the level 62/63 enemies depends on your existing level, weapons, skills and weapon proficiencies (so you may still find some of them "too easy" to defeat, depending on the circumstances).

No third playthrough found (squashing that rumour).
