i just had a run on a singapore server. quite enjoyable and no really noticeable lag. 6v6 is good for the map size and it performed quite well on my lappy without much tweaking.

this one is looking good....

Okay I have to say this knocks just about every AAA FPS title since cod4 out of the ball park for multiplay imo.

On first load - it plays brilliantly. No stutters, no freezes or crashes. It feels great, it looks superb and thats only DX10 for me. Lot of action lots of fun. Server browser - meh needs work; friends system - needs work.

Its only 6v6 and maybe thats part of the reason it performs so well, but the balance is right. 6v6 is great. They've borrowed from the CODs with perks and killstreaks but they have actually done a good bug free base game to put these things on. Hologram decoys, air stomp jumps, no idea what else awaits as Im still leveling.

Plenty of aussie servers available (the CUSTOM gametype servers type are bugging out and not starting rounds but there are plenty of STANDARD gametype servers to play on). Even when I played on US and EU servers, I couldn't even tell of any lag. And I get good fps and still get good gfx.

They have nailed this. I'm sold for 2 copies

Like any new game there'll be bugs.. it's when and how they're fixed that matters

Played the MP for about 3 minutes before I got a phone call and had to bail. That was yesterday, haven't really been inspired to go back in and play again. Had the potential to play well with 16+ vs 16+ but if it's 6 v 6 (which from everything I've read is the max MP supported) doesn't cut it with me.

my most enjoyable matches have been on 5v5 games with you in fact

i see that gameservers is taking preoders for servers with 16 players - so perhaps 8v8 is possible on release.
