Default Crysis 2 strobing issue

Hello all,

Im having issues with massive light strobing in game , have tried the advanced settings tool with no luck.

HELP PLZ in tunnels and indoors its fine but as soon as i get into an out door area its so bad I have to quit the game.

RevD the adv gfx didn't work i am not sure as it has fixed that for some users

Check if you're running the latest drivers for your graphics card. If not then update them and please post back if this worked or not.

ATi have updated something in their latest driver to help the strobe effect ... the package has to mention Crysis 2 something to do with Catalyst Application Profiles .. find the driver with that search

just did the CAP4 addon for amd 11.2 better yes fixed NO!

that was something they mentioned redeye .. It is a ATi thing by the seems of it , which is not a good thing considering the market

Ok now were cooking with gas , I had load the new driver again after installing the base driver that came with the card and this time when i went to launch the game it did the activation process all over again and now its working fine . Go figure

I spoke to soon mate just started the game and its strobing its ass off , and the textures are flashing .. this game is really pissing me off.

Are there nvidia issues with this game or just the usual ATI issues requiring the endless hot-fixes they release?
