Looks like release will be 12/12/12, or 12 December 2012.

Hawken is looking trully amazing and it is going to be a big year for mech based games, specially with Mechwarrior releasing a game that somewhat looks like a RTS game and then the big one being Mechwarrior Online. Not to mention the already deemed success of Armoured Core V...Hawken is definately the one I'm keeping my eyes on however it has the looks and makings to be an insanely fun game.
Feel free to add me on steam, while not a full member does not mean I'm not up for playing a few games with or against you guys.

I looked at Armoured Core V, seems like you were always sliding around and didn't seem right. Even saw a vid of a mech with tank tracks and it was slide-strafing (while the tracks were still facing forwards) like WTF?

Why make a mech game if you make everything move like a scifi shooter like tribes or something. Isn't the whole point of driving massive mechs that they handle in interesting ways?

Looking forward to Hawken though.

It appears that beta sign-ups are now open.

If anyone is going to sign up, would you kindly use this link - Hawken - War Is A Machine! - 3 signups using that and I get to reserve my pilot name. I will gladly return the favour since I plan on registering mutiple emails to stand a better chance of getting into the beta
