Duke Nukem Meet Randy Pitchford - for people in UK
Duke Nukem sometime?
The guys at BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) and the guys at Gearbox Software are throwing an event.
The following came across my desk as a press release.
I thought it was worthwhile posting it up for any of the UK guys, I would go if I happened to be in London at that time.
Quote:
2K Games and BAFTA team up to bring you a night with Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software…
(…and saviour of Duke Nukem)
Windsor, UK May 5th, 2011 – Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox Software and saviour of Duke Nukem, will be taking part in a question and answer session at BAFTA HQ on Wednesday 11th May. Hosted by GameSpot UK’s Johnny Chiodini, questions will focus on Duke Nukem, his resurrection and the story behind the rise, fall and re-birth of the self proclaimed ‘King of Shooters’.
BAFTA will also host the unveiling of Duke Nukem’s official portrait. Painstakingly crafted by portrait artist Frank Frid, the 35” by 23” oil painting took 350 man hours to create. Limited-edition prints, signed by Randy Pitchford, will be available on the evening.
Tickets for the evening can be purchased via this link –

Five pounds and you get a beer with that as well.
If there are any TOGgers going, I would love to get a review/writeup of the event for the front pages.
