TOG 2v2 CALL OF DUTY RIFLES

Call of Duty Division has a team at #1 on the TWL ladder today (out of 156 teams), the first time a US COD team has achieved the honor of topping the charts.

1st Recon Squad is now Number ONE on the 2v2 Rifles Only Search and Destroy Ladder. K2, Bumbee, Dieter, Jackal and Joe Black share the dizzy heights and are happy to report that the air is somewhat rarified up here. The only disappointment is that the promised nymphs were not waiting with peeled grapes for the brave boys of 1st Recon.

After much scrimming and preparation for the match, Joe and Jackal had stripped and cleaned their weapons and carefully inscribed each bullet with Team X's name with an hour to go before match time.

The challenge for #1 spot against Team xquisit resulted in an astounding victory by forfeit as the team X boys were simply too scared to show up to face the truly awesome sight of a fully pumped up and snarling Jackal and Joe Black. They take the consolation price of a moveon.org t-shirt and 2004 Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker each.

Sorry TOG, but you should know that us "x boys" were not too scared to show up, TOG's 2v2 rifle division would not reschedule the match, WHEN IT WAS SCHEDULED ON MY BIRTHDAY. About an hour after match time, routoq talked to TWO of you guys, when I was on to play. Your team had enough to play, yet still refused, because YOU were scared to play the REAL NUMBER ONE 2v2 TEAM THAT GOT ALL OF ITS WINS BY ACTUALLY BEATING TEAMS IN GAME. Congrats on your FORFEIT win, I hope you made the whole TOG team happy by being babies and not simply rescheduling, or playing when you had enough on later that night, when I came home. My team (xquizit) reigned on top of this ladder for nearly 15 straight matches, and we would have beaten TOG as well, you would have been another notch on our belt of victories. We will meet in this ladder, and you will see why we are the REAL number one team.

P.S. I noticed you lost 1st already, good job, I guess you can't make everyone forfeit.

Birthday or not, YOU had a choice of two dates and YOU picked your birthday.

YOU claimed you were playing R.O.S.E. online...therefore YOU are to blame for your loss of #1....

Being responsible and providing ample time for a reschedule, and not waiting until matchtime to handle it is as much a part of the ladder as actually playing.

So, pick an excuse- was it because of you playing R.O.S.E. online, or because of someone's birthday?

If it was due to the former, then shame on you for being so irresponsible as to not defend your top spot. IF it was your birthday, did you NOT have prior knowledge of your own birthday? And, if so, did you not have ample time to communicate this in match comms?

Pretty pathetic to come stir the pot in our house, and I'm sure it's only because -/dbi/- Golbez smeared you in the recent match rants (quite comical, I must admit)

Good luck in your future endeavours of being responsible in your ladder and of being able to pick an excuse BEFORE you go posting on another clan's site out of frustration.

I love that it bugged you so bad that you had to come see what was said about the match on our site.

All this, and I don't even play for the team in question- I just can't stand to hear the sound of a crying baby.

I'm sure you'll have your shot at revenge....unless Team purged* takes it first.
